Daovua Leaf Spring 240 Video

Post by ChefKnivesToGo »

Check this shit out. I'm starting to feel the itch to go check these guys out in person.

People seem to like them. We sold the 30 that they shipped us in a few hours.

I saw them come in, and the next time I looked - wham! Gone.
Real nice handles on these. Interesting shape.
Priced for Christmas gifting, and then some ;)

Thanks for poasting! Those guys have a rhythm going with that hammer, fun to watch. Seems like they are willing to make just about anything there’s a market for and they are evolving fast. There’s a big difference between your first batch and what they are doing now. The whole no shoes things still makes me chuckle...... I guess I’m “OSHA conditioned”. I hope your scratch that itch and document the trip!

I wonder what they could do with good equipment and good steel? It doesn't cost that much money to set up a proper workshop with a modern spring hammer and grinding wheel. They would probably need to import the steel. How many junked Russian jeep leaf springs could there be in Vietnam?

If they invested and had some guidance on what to make I bet it would pay off. They’re certainly capable.

If we start a knife maker VC fund, can we get paid in cash and knives?

I’m wishing I snagged a 240 even more now. Great vid. If we did a fund for them I think we should also get them chiropractic appointments. All that bending over makes my back hurt just watching :0

Mark are you gonna wear shoes when you visit them or is footwear off limits in their shop :)

I love the background of the these knives.I have 2 so far and will probably buy more when I can. I don't use them as often as I should, but when I do, they are excellent.

Pretty cool. I would be down for a quick run through Vietnam if you go. My dad has been a couple times and loved it.

These are really starting to look nice. I still haven't played with one, might have to pick up a 210 when they come in stock.

Kit!! Where in the hell have you been? Nice to see you back! I just sold a 210, great little knife and it took a nice edge.
