Recent work, June 2017
Hello everybody!
Here is some recent work! Gonna try the Instagram BBcode and see if it works.
This Takeda sassanoha belongs to forum member colorevo
Santoku A and gyuto 270!
Thanks to Josh (joshigon of wabi sabi) for the spalted hackberry burl. Amazing material! I stabilized it in house.
Thanks!
Cody

Thanks guys!
Josh is a good guy! He was kind enough to send me a small stash of this material. I think I have enough fot 2 more handles

Hi Josh! The pic I think you're asking about is a Mario Ingoglia knife with a Redwood lace burl handle and matching redwood saya. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful work as usual Cody! I'm going to have to get some of your work for myself!
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

First and foremost I'd like to compliment you on the very nice work and beautiful craftsmanship! Secondly, I've been checking CKTG daily for a saya for my Takeda small Sasanoha (180) with no luck. Today I stumbled upon this forum during my daily CKTG "new arrivals" search.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a nicely done handle and saya for a Takeda Sasanoha immediately after clicking on your thread. My question is how do I go about contacting and ordering a saya from you?
Please bear with me as I've literally made an account for this forum a few minutes from posting this message.
