If I aim for the type of edge that is a very acute angle but has a micro-bevel at the end, which would work better:
Grind a small microbevel with a fine stone
or
strop at a higher angle to make a little convex edge at the tip
I guess I am worried that even on a fine stone, there are little imperfections on the stone that would make a messy edge.
