Mr Imanishi’s basement stone
Mr. Imanishi was nice enough to visit me for dinner along with a few other guys and he brought me a gift. It was 150 grit stone that he said he made years ago and they didn’t catch on so he put the boxes aside and forgot about them in his basement until I started asking for some new low grit stones. He actually had boxes prepared in English and printed English on the stones as well. He said at the time, American customers only wanted stones that used oil so he put Oil Stone on them. I asked if that was the recommended way and he said no water was better.
Anyway, I bought 20 of them without trying them. I’ll check it out when I get home but I thought for the price they would be fun. I’ll give you guys a deep discount on them and sell them off for $20 each. He’s selling them to me for $10 before shipping to me. I thought you guys would have fun with them.
When I asked him when he had these made he said 1985. That was the year I graduated college. Hahahah

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I most certainly want an Imanishi Oil 150.

Re: Mr Imanishi’s basement stone
It’s been going really well. These trips have really advanced our business and I’ve gotten a bunch of good friends out of it as well. Kosuke picks me up in about an hour and I’m spending the rest of the day and night with him.
Tomorrow is Echizen for a big dinner party with a bunch of the Takefu guys.
Monday night is dinner with the president of Shapton in Tokyo.
Tuesday I’m on my way home and will be starting my diet. Hahahah

I want one, I've got some pretty dull lawn mower blades!
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

I think I'm in, too, since I have a trip to the states coming up. Will this be a forum special page or something?
