Crap. Missed them. But I did get one of the Ozuku koppas the night before! I saw the notification they were in and immediately ignored everything going on in my family and ordered on the spot. Family negligence pays off!

PS the basement stones are almost all gone as well. I think we have 5 left of the 25 we got in yesterday.
Well, at least I moved fast enough to get my basement stone...

Dang it, didn't I say that I'm out of room for stones? Oh well, I never really liked my pop rocks stone that much, I suppose it can find a different drawer.

Ken sells a nice Aoto too (aono aoto), not sure how many he has in stock but it's my favorite stone.

Yes, that's a fun stone. Really sucks the edge in place. But one can have multiple aotos, and this one was pretty darn cheap.

Deffinetly worth having one in the line up especially for single bevel work I could go on about how many stone combinations I went through until I found a good aoto to use as a middle stone before I got polishing stones great especially for setting Kashmir finishing and honbaduke finish

True. There are many types of Aoto stones.

I started sealing my aoto today. It’s a beast of a stone!

Here you go, Jason. I went to the link and from my phone, press and hold the image, then select copy. That gives you a different link to insert between the img brackets.

Thank you slobound! Instead of clicking directly on the pic I was using their process of copying a link, which does not work.

I ran into that same issue months ago after not using imagur for a while. It was frustrating until I had some help from the forum members. Passing it along :D

I just wanted to chime in and thank Mark for offering these. I've had a chance to use mine a few times and so far prefer it greatly to my Aono aoto. Mine needs a tiny bit of flattening but is very pure with no apparent inclusions. It leaves an awesome toothy edge when following a Chosera 800. An absolutely crazy value at $45! Thanks, Mark!

I have used my aoto a few times now and getting some decent results. I have no other naturals to compare to but I'll echo cj's comment to Mark, thank you for offering these up at such a great value!

These were most likely a onetime deal.
