1080 steel, water quenched. Also got a ktip petty and a honesuki in the works not shown.

Hey, thanks! The redwood handle is supposed to be my attempt at a tall yani/single bevel. I don't have a big enough wheel to do a full hollow back, so I tried a half. It's pretty deep and looks like a curved edge. But it preforms similiar (in my experience, which is limited) to a single bevel. It steers. But gets sharp:) the back is as flat ad I could keep it with my stones(not flat) and it came out pretty cool! Think it's going to be this month's give away knife as I wanted to do something bigger and interesting.
