Re: Current Inventory 4/25/17
Thanks. Someone just picked up 6 handles tonight. One more goes out tomorrow to CKTG Memorial Day fundraiser sale.
Next week I will be busy restocking. Maybe this time the tojiro will get new shoes.
Re: Current Inventory 4/25/17
Hi, Ben. What are the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th from the left and are they available?

Figured mango, figured mango, lacewood, leopardwood. Sorry to say, only one of the figures mango handles is still avalible.

Thanks! No need to be sorry. Moving big chunks of inventory is a high class problem.

Re: Current Inventory
I am going to update this thread periodically.
Please tell me what you like, even if you are not ready to purchase. I love to hear from everyone on color/style preferences.
Thanks
Ben

Well, I like the fifth, sixth, and eighth from the left. Really nice work. I'll have one someday.

Re: Current Inventory
I know this is an older thread but I like number two in the first photo. I would like it even better if it were a D handle.

Re: Current Inventory
Thanks! I find it interesting how polarizing purpleheart is as a component. People either love it or hate it.

Re: Current Inventory
Did you pick up dakota’s Knife? I have another round of those handles to finish, except this time I have the ferrule made from Honduras rosewood.

Re: Current Inventory
I did indeed. Still love the handle. Makes me want to experiment a little.
BTW I also tried one of those laminated wood handles I mentioned before. You were right. It just didn't look right. Straight into the fire pit.

I am happy you like it. Even happier it inspired you to experiment.nevrknow wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2017 11:45 amI did indeed. Still love the handle. Makes me want to experiment a little.

Ha. I have thought about how to make an all endgrain handle, but the experimentation has never turned out quite as well as it should. I thought if it was done right it would feel great and be very solid in the hand.
