I have been waiting all week to this post. The customer received this knife yesterday and is very happy. When the customer first mentioned a purpleheart ferrule and osage orange body, I thought it was a bold move. As soon as I lined up these wood it was clear this was a great combination. We looked at ebony vs maple spacers, at the ebony tied the the @ma.ko.to_k blade to the handle perfectly.

That handle works very well with that blade Ben. Been very impressed with your work.

Cleaver time baby! These five CCK1303 were rehandled with blackwood/maple/walnut and they look great. These colors go great with the KU finish.

Ben, the handles look great. For those of you who may not of worked with Ben before I was amazed at the level of contact and dialogue we had with these. Everyone I gave one to was super impressed.
