Re: 2018 Handles
I have been waiting all week to this post. The customer received this knife yesterday and is very happy. When the customer first mentioned a purpleheart ferrule and osage orange body, I thought it was a bold move. As soon as I lined up these wood it was clear this was a great combination. We looked at ebony vs maple spacers, at the ebony tied the the @ma.ko.to_k blade to the handle perfectly.

That handle works very well with that blade Ben. Been very impressed with your work.

Re: 2018 Handles
Cleaver time baby! These five CCK1303 were rehandled with blackwood/maple/walnut and they look great. These colors go great with the KU finish.

Ben, the handles look great. For those of you who may not of worked with Ben before I was amazed at the level of contact and dialogue we had with these. Everyone I gave one to was super impressed.

Re: 2018 Handles
One forum member sent me photos of their “Bensbites” collection. This spans one of my first handles to one of my most recent.
