I am digging those squared/tanto styled knives. Good looking group.

Field knives

Post by LadyBBWsexEr »

I use my Lansky kit on a regular basis to keep my knives sharp, but Id like to have a field sharpener to keep in my truck EDC pouch or something for touch ups. What on the go sharpener would you recommend?

Nice designs. It is rare to see so many different variations that all look so refined. Not unlike 4k handles, which is a massive, massive complement!

Comments: I'm short, a home cook, prefer lighter, thinner blades, and own mostly Konosukes but have used over a dozen brands.

It depends...we always just use a little Arkansas stone when we go hunting and fishing, I like Arkansas stones a lot. However, Arkansas stones don't work well on stainless. If you want something cheap and easy get this https://www.amazon.com/Sanding-File-Pea ... paper+file and carry a few sheets of sandpaper of various grits. You can make a strop whatever size you want as well by just gluing a piece of leather or felt to a piece of wood.

Somehow I missed seeingth us one earlier, that is really cool! I like how you shaped the handle and the way it showed the layered micarta as a result. The spacers into a guard idea is very cool too.
