Reprofile on my Gihei blue #2/ slight thin behind the edge

Post by Bullman »

I decided to just make this better than it was. One thing you will notice is I always wrap my customers handles in frog tape to prevent contimation and not take a chance on scratching them. Anyway you will notice a FACTORY flat spot on the back side close to the bullalo ferrel. Its common place on most quality knives and does not hurt performance. Started over with a Shapton Glass 4k than a Japanese version if the pro a 5k on a base. Bases don't bug me I'm set up for both. Than moved over ymto the Yagonoshimas 8k and 10k on a base than finished up on a 12 k Shapton. Turns out it was the perfect combo along with the slight thinning behind the edge to a semi glossy finish. Cuts like a dream. Enjoy the pics. Try to get video later
