Grit Chart Conversion Spreadsheet

This is a very good resource. It will help you compare stones from different makers.

Pardon the noob question, but is there a legend for the grit chart? Some column headings are obvious, others not so much (at least to this new guy).

Has Edge Pro identified the standardized grit value (in microns or something else) of their 400 stone? The table shows the discontinued 320 but not the 400.

Where do your CTKG Diamond grit plates for Edge Pro fit on this chart?

So a couple of things here. As far as I know, this chart is updated by forum members or maybe moderators?? and while it may not be totally up to date, as Mark says it's a good resource.

In terms of the legend / headings for the columns, these are a mix of international and other standards, plus how a number of suppliers / manufacturers stones fit into either the standards or their own numbering system. Also the standards are updated / changed from time to time and this just complicates things further.

You will find the EdgePro stones in the FEPA-F column and this is the standard their stones are manufactured to. There are pretty much no forum members who I am aware of, who are still using the standard EP stones, which, I suspect is why they don't get updated.
