Thanks for all the support and comments

This is a custom piece with spalted maple and vintage poker chip. The maple and poker chip were sent to me for the order.

Very rare wood out of Malaysia called juha, johar or 1000 flower wood. It has been used traditionally for knife handles. The small amount that I acquired was salvaged from a tree that was on fire. It is related to pheasant-wood

I’ve had this design in my head for at least 8-9 months. Purchased the wood and sent it off to George K. We went over what I wanted and he delivered. After completing the handle, my wife claimed it. Now I need to decide what to put it on.

Continuing my love of desert Ironwood. This one is a hybrid octagonal/oval - excuse the dust on one photo

Variations on my snake wood design. It took me a few tries on how to get the highlights with the double spacers. This one is hard to part with ....

First mammoth tusk handle. This block was really rustic, so I paired its with a nice ringed Gidgee to give it a Paleolithic look and feel.
