Custom set for the ask of ‘fire and ice’. After the request I worked with someone to create the set of blocks, then created these. The dragon scales were a nice touch.

This piece was made with cut offs. I’ve done a few of these;they are fun and a nice way to use up some beautiful extras.

Beautiful set for a custom order. Nice collaboration to get a good understanding of the clients taste, then plenty of freedom to make these. Personally, they really reach out to me.
Claro walnut body with curly mango ferrule. The spacers and endcaps are made out of carbon fiber mixed with copper

Pinning an endcap.
I’ve had people ask about this, so I’ll share so others won’t have to learn from their own mistakes. That’s better than having an upset client ...
Since I use a hidden dowel, I drill all the way through the body and use the end of the dowel as the pin.

That carbon fiber / copper damascus is sweet!
