Blu skillet 7inch gratin

Post by nakneker »

This is a brand new Blu skillet, a 7 inch gratin. You can check the link at the bottom to learn more. Blu skillets are hand made carbon pans, made by a couple in Seattle and they can be hard to get. They scream quality and should last a lifetime, they are guaranteed for a lifetime. This will be the last pay it forward thread for me. If you work in the food industry, if you own a restaurant, if your a cook, if your a server, if your hostess, a waiter then this give away is for you. If you have a 100+ posts and work in the food industry this skillet is on me, shipping is on me. All I ask is that you pay it forward when you get the opportunity.

To make a crude comparison to sharp pointy things, Blu Skillets are sorta like Raquin or Comet: boutique producers with a demand significantly higher than supply that insta-sell out when they go on sale.

The skillet has found a new home. I had fun doing these give aways. I hope life gets back to normal soon and until then I hope we all do what we can to ease the stress and difficulties this has caused for so many. Peace.

Ah!

How did I miss this one?!
We just moved back home out of the U.S and man do the ovens feel small here!
My DeBuyer's handle won't fit inside the oven anymore - and gratin is exactly what we liked preparing with it in the oven.
You really are a class-act, Sean. Goodonyamate

What a lovely, fantastic gesture. I have a couple of these in this size and they are beloved. Sean, you need a halo! Gotta say, I am currently on the other side of the country from my normal home, and I miss my Blu Skillet pieces hugely. What an inspiration to behave wonderfully and think of others in these tough times. To the new owner—enjoy!
