Nice - I got a B#2 Fuji last year that was returned with "scratches" but I couldn't see them or they were two small to bother me in daily use of the knife.

Oof. Tempting. Just bought some more bike bling, though, so the budget would need to be looked at closely.

It's what happens when supply starts to catch up with demand.
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

Its this and supply and demand I think. There is a definite up tick in availability of these knives recently plus the new Sanjo sourced blades might be eating into Fujiyama sales.
But for sure disposable money is drying up so fast its scary.

Yeah I’ve seen a few for sale more in the last month or so than I have since they started releasing us.
At least in my situation is with those tough calls some things that I’ve seen come up because With certain things that are hard to come by for the pop-up very often, you almost have to buy it as soon as you see it come around....
The same time now we just start getting to the point where they were going to allow restaurants to have 75% capacity and a lot of places started putting out feelers for cooks and chefs and then it all got yanked away.
I had two job interviews that canceled on me because of that so back to square one!

But I do have my birthday coming up A little more than a month from now so no matter what I’m trying to make sure that I get one of those new 270 mm versions.

Fms are phenomenal! They still sell out relatively quick compared to many other lines. It's nice that they are available to. I don't hope for them to be overly coveted, so that people can think they are in the cool group if they have one and you got to sit at your computer all day hoping to get one  . It's a good thing they are available, keep them coming Mark, fantastic knives.
