I'm hoping to get another one of these. These are stones that come through the Hatanaka family - original owners of the Nakayama mine - original owners are the Kato family These are relatively rare This is a thick quite hard stone - essentially a splash and go stone. I'm debating whether to sell or keep this one to myself 
... This is a stone to use on straight razors Or as a polisher for knives.
