Hi Jason,

This one is only about halfway ground. I can put what ever edge geometry on it you would like. edit to add: any edge geometry as long as its a 50/50 symmetrical grind.

Originally I had planned this to be an "allium assasin" of sorts, so i plan to grind as thin a tip as I possibly can. You could let me kow your intended use and I will grind to suit.

Love your use of subtle spacers in your handle work that adds an air of detail and elegance without being to audacious. Beautiful!
Thanks Jeff, this one has some amazing african blackwood as the handle frame...some dark brown and black layers with a iridescent tinge...really impossible to photograph, and then the copper spacers have a jet black g10 in between, I am very happy with this combo :)

Thanks for the compliments all!

Finished out the first of 10 parers I have...These things are pretty slick, this is crucible S35VN steel, makes a great utility knife in a high wear stainless.

Good looking parer Tim. I'm a big fan of s35vn, I have a gyuto in that steel from pre-crazy Shaun and it's a great knife.
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

Still need to refine the lines a bit where the blade meets the handle...this one is almost done. This is a Sabatier edge profile with about 50mm height at the heel. steel is Devin Thomas SS damascus.
Handle is a western shape but with an emoto area more like what you would find with a Wa style. Very nice pinch grip...the balance is a bit forward of the heel.
