4 days ago I got a message from my bog oak supplier. His name is Volodymyr and he digs the stuff out of the ancient river beds on his property and then cuts it into blocks for sale all around the world.
"Couldn't answer right away. We are constantly bombed, the city is practically destroyed. They shoot civilians. It's hell in Ukraine now."
