When I saw the knife, two things immediately surprised me.
-The first was how smooth and perfectly rounded the choil and spine was. This knife is extremely comfortable to use. Interesting but such F&F it's difficult to find on many more expensive knives.
-The second was when I stropped it. I do it with every new knife. Wow! It had zero fine resistance or friction. It usually feels some with new knives. Not with this one It was like someone with excellent sharpening skills had just sharpened it.

OOTB, Wakui came up with an awesome edge. The Gyuto profile has a good flat surface from the heel. The blade provides good food separation and release. It is powerful and is on the heavier side. It cuts extremely well and I would use it daily.
The handle of the 240 is about 15mm longer (I like it) than the handle of the 210 and has a D-shape compared to the oval shape of the 210.

Wakui has impressive overall F&F, paired with such a solid overall performance - quite a powerful package for so reasonable amount of money.

This Knife is Simply a Gem!

Super-fast shipping and delivery. Big Thank you!
