Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I had Thanksgiving earlier this week because that was when my vacation started, I'll post a few pics when I can. It was lots of fun and good food!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, enjoy your friends and family and all the knife prep!

Thank you, and to you and everyone else here as well!

The Senko came much later, though still yet another excellent knife from Kurosaki. The infamous "Jeff" knife unfortunately is no longer in production....Bob Z wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 8:56 pmis that the infamous "Jeff" knife?TheLegalRazor wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 8:17 pmYes, the gyuto is a Kurosaki Senko SG2.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy belated Turkey Day to all! Hope everyone got to play with some knives!
Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
One of these pictures is some of the home made baked goods for Thanksgiving, an apple crisp, some banana bread, and my second attempt at home made rolls! For lunch on Thanksgiving we always do a veggie tray with ranch and onion dip, along with deviled eggs, deli meat roles, and a cool whip, marshmallow, fruit mix we call fluff for lunch desert. Then for dinner we have pork roast (instead of turkey), mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing (I don't eat stuffing myself), the rolls I made that morning, and gravy at your pleasure.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
We do Thanksgiving at a relatives house so I don't have to cook much. This year we just brought stuffing and beer. One issue that has come up in the past is that we do the big meal at lunch time and by evening people are hungry again but don't want to eat the same thing again (and all of the restaurants are closed so no takeout). This year I came prepared and made pizza. Four of them, and saved one dough for focaccia today. Who needs that button on their pants anyway?
