CCK long slicer with custom handle - SOLD!

Post by Mike9 »

I'm parting with this wonderful stainless slicer from CCK. The number stamped on it is either 29850317, or 23850317. The cutting edge is 9-5/8" long the heel is 2-1/2" in height and the spin is a scant 1/16". Handle is Mammoth tooth and stabilized curly Koa. I can't find another blade like this on line and believe me I've looked. $175 shipped/paypal'd CONUS.

looks like someone took a CCK small cleaver and turn it into a large bunka. Is the Ferrule chipped or is that just something going on with the pic?

The ferrule is chipped - came that way. At 9.5 inches it's hardy a "small" cleaver. I agree it's been reshaped and a damned fine job of it too. I'll ship it for $150.

Handle alone is worth 150.00.

Is the handle epoxied in, or can it come off?

Wait, so the blade is a 240mm? Didn't know they made the small cleaver that big. The one on cktg says the blade is 215mm. Sorry, I'm jut trying to clarify. How many mm tall is it?

It's the spine.

This is a very cool knife.

The blade is 245mm on the cutting edge, the heel is 63mm high and the spine is 1.7mm thick. I believe the handle is epoxied on there are no pins to be seen. It's a very cool knife and flies through product I'm just letting some of the drawer queens go.
