Re: 2018 Handles
Your knife handles are almost too nice to use. What's the approximate dimensions of your handle?

Re: 2018 Handles
My instock handles vary, I try to keep a range around for when someone wants a fast install. Custom handle can be anything the client wants. I start by asking about the current handle on the knife. Too big? Too small?

Re: 2018 Handles
I did four handles for one client, he has them and is very happy. The piece handled just like the other stabilized woods : bog oak, grey boxwood burl, Hawaian mango, and leopardwood. I will post those handles over the next week or two.

MUNETOSHI KUROUCHI 170MM WA BUTCHER. This knife (my personal collection) has recently been upgraded with a nice thornwood burl handle. The block was a pay it forward win from a forum member. The wood was originally from @greenberg_woods. I am feeling lucky! This handle is a new prototype design from my shop, and I already have a few tweaks planned for the next batch.

Re: 2018 Handles
This stunning new handle went on a Masakage Koishi. This all started with an chechen burl / resin block. I added very thin black paper micarta and resin spacer to the handle to accentuate the stunning burl. Swipe for more photos.
