Re: Moving
Haha. Nice. I actually have a very specific box that is dedicated to storing all of my knife boxes and - when moving - all of my knives. It is a 4qt all-clad pot box, so it is perfect: a long rectangular prism that is double-reinforced and easily holds 20 different knife boxes at least to 270mm. I've moved enough that I keep this box for precisely this purpose.
I have to say, I love the look of all those boxes, and the convenience. You definitely don't get that with knives from just any country. Haha.

Don't trip and fall either...
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.
Re: Moving
They are definitely convenient. If the boxes weren't so ideal for storage and I didn't have a shelf to keep them, I'm sure I would have a hodgepodge of drawer inserts, blocks, strips, and stands that would horribly offend my need for things in straight lines.
As for tripping and falling, that was also a consideration. Thankfully I don't think anything in that box was irreplaceable because if they had fallen, I'd have hoped nothing bad happened when they hit the ground, but I was going to leap the other way.
