Add me to the list of new Tanaka B1 owners. This thing is bonkers thin behind the edge!

Dang Ashy, crazy thin! Love it.
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Do they behave like fujis? I'm interested in these but I have never been a fan of the Kono Fujis.Nmiller21k wrote: ↑Tue Jun 12, 2018 11:15 am I picked up one as well...they're nicer than the Kono Fuju's I've had

Agreed Nick. Way more heft. Not so finished at the spine. Great knife over all.

Whoa! That’s saying a lot. I’ve never used either, but I know the Fuji rep.Nmiller21k wrote: ↑Tue Jun 12, 2018 11:15 am I picked up one as well...they're nicer than the Kono Fuju's I've had

Re: Show us your new knife!
I have had this handle design in my head for almost a year, but I was waiting for the right knife to come along. Matt had to custom order the scales, and it came out even better than I had imagined. The handle construction of the body and ferrule is carbon fiber weave with M3 black titanium core. The spacer is mother of pearl with red G10 and brass.

That's a gorgeous knife and handle. I love the inlay/ Thanks for sharing.

Re: Show us your new knife!
Matt definitely knows his way around a lot of different materials. He actually enjoys playing around with the less commonly used stuff so he was excited to work on this design for me. Super creative & super meticulous, and it always shows in the end product.
