I will yes but it's going to be a little longer. They're making a box for it and they need to ship it to me first.

Re: Ever wish you could buy old naturals?
Mark,
Is there a description of Natural Stones somewhere on the forum? I just bought a Meara from Ken but I have no way to compare what's available to the multiple synthetic stones I have been using for years. I would love reading a detailed description of Jnats and how they compare (or don't) to man made stones.

My wife doesn't complain so that's all that really matters. It's all good as long as she doesn't have to do it!

Here is the stone item page. The description is pretty much his (I don’t have the stone yet) and I simply edited his email to me into copy.

It ultimately comes down to preparation and timing.Jeff B wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 2:04 pmMy wife doesn't complain so that's all that really matters. It's all good as long as she doesn't have to do it!

Jeff, I'm a very good cook, but I've only what I need (read: too little) of everything; just a couple of knives, just a couple of stones, and that's it.
How about we get together and even things out a bit, eh? You can give me a few of your too many knives and a few of your synthetics and I can show you to a few good Jacques Peppin links on YouTube

Was that supposed to say "katana"? If not, then please excuse my ignorance

Re: Ever wish you could buy old naturals?
Well no way am I in the market for that stone - but you may want to harmonize your metric dimensions to the listed inch ones. Metric dimensions are tiny 21mm x 7.5mm x 4mm translated to English measurements is roughly .82” x .29” x .16”
I was astounded on the price given the tiny size till I read the description and realized you had a conversion problem. Still astounded at the price but less so...
