Jesse, can we discuss a menu with you? I was hoping we could customize something for us.

Ok, with Jesse's friend and minus Jeff's wife we're still at 7 spots left.

My daughter has just confirmed which makes us two but if you need her spot for another loyal enthusiast please let me know. Don’t want to be greedy!

I would love to attend, plane is scheduled to land at 5:15, so if reservations are around 7 I should be good to go. If the plane is late, I’ll cover my cost. If you want the spot for someone who knows they will be in town on time, I’m good with that too.

Thanks

Dinner is going to be at 6pm. The Japanese guys are flying in that day and they might not be feeling too great after the 13 hour flight so I don't want to make them stay late. That said, I think we're in the lounge area so the idea is we're going to eat and then hang out and have drinks afterwards in the bar so please come anyway.

If you take the blue line you actually might make it in time. If memory serves it's about 30 minutes to the Loop from Ohare.

I'll save you a seat. :)

She will be a future customer. After the weekend she will be hooked, of course.

ok everyone, here is a screenshot of our most popular set menus for large groups.
I can see about subbing out different items if desired, and of course we can accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions.

If you wanted to upgrade, there are many options that can add whatever you want, including our $98 & $128 Omakase tasting menus. I don't know what our best wagyu will be at that time, but normally it's not going to be lower than A5-8, we generally have pretty nice truffles as well. Drinks would be additional.
Here is the menu page for the restaurant. https://www.rokaakor.com/chicago/menu/

I will be upgrading the desserts if we go with the Tokujo or Okiraku and will do my best to answer whatever questions you want to throw my way.

My daughter and I are utterly flexible. She has a shellfish allergy so I will eat her shellfish. I am diabetic so she'll eat my desert. A symbiotic relationship, but I think I'm the winner.
