2019 Customs and WIP Stuff
2018 ended with a bit of unexpected surgery for the wife and some other unforeseen complications so I did have to back burner knife making for a bit. I am getting back in the swing now though
Here is a 250mm almost finished. Handle length still needs to be adjusted and details need to be added.
Adding in some tapers to make sure the pinch grip is comfortable/ no sharp corners. Using mike Sakmar Mokume here.
Here is a hitachi blue#2 mono steel knife. The profile is a result of the customers sketch, big belly, some good heft, large flat....It getting dressed up in in titanium, curly ipe and corby bolts, using the same kind of titanium used in tanks to defend armor piercing rounds...this thing will be an absolute beast but with a insane distal taper.

Re: 2019 Customs and WIP Stuff
Thanks Guys, Its been a very difficult start of the year ! I thank everyone so much for their patience as I get life back together. Shop is re built better than ever. Ive got about 3-4 hours a week of dedicated shop time so progress is slow but Im picking up speed. Ill begin posting pictures of progress this weekend, and sharing full details of some truly exciting projects. Also for my re handle customers as I do have a few on the bench, Ive got to make some more time but am working on it!
