Are those CKTG Walnut sayas?Coquus wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:43 pm Just received these two stunning blades: FT B#2 and FM W#1. The pictures don't describe how incredibly beautiful the new FT line is. Stunning! Also I like how thin the grind on these White #1 are compared to my recent Blue #2
The whole family:(Left-Right) FT B#2, FM W#1, FM Damascus AS, FM B#2, Old Stock Fuji W#2, GS+ Togatta, Western HD2

Haha, it's gonna be used. Its the crown jewel of this collection, not many can say they have an AS Fujiyama!
Yes, yes they are. Figured the walnut sayas would go tastefully with the Khii laurel and ebony handles.
Re: Show us your new knife!
Can you give a breakdown on the differences in grind between the two? As in the difference between FM and FT.Coquus wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:43 pm Just received these two stunning blades: FT B#2 and FM W#1. I'm curious about the FT finish/ polish, as in after use and patina how it'll look. And especially after patina "removal". Looks great, just wondering how long that beautiful polish lasts

My FT is scheduled for delivery today, and you best believe that I’m gonna do my damndest to figure out how to recreate the original finish I have a few ideas based on the photos I’ve seen thus far, but seeing it in person will really tell me a lot.

Chocolate dip!
I'd be very interested in hearing more on this, not just the chocolate dip but other means as well.

Loving the new Fuji 240 W#1. Great taper, thin behind the edge and nice balance. Some nice figure in the Ebony. I would have to say I like this new grind over the original wide bevel.
Specs on my example. 232x50; ~175g. Balance point at the pinch grip.

Beautiful knife. Those lighter streaks in the ebony are really great looking.Corradobrit wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 3:25 pm Loving the new Fuji 240 W#1. Re: Show us your new knife!
I had such a busy week and weekend that I completely forgot that my FT arrived. The sun is going down so the lighting isn’t the greatest, but I figured I would post a few pics anyways. The specs for mine are:
Edge Length: 224mm
Height @ Heel: 50mm
Weight: 151g (5-3/8 oz)
