Who can guess why the client likes this color, there was a very specific reason? Dyed and stabilized maple burl with elm and ebony spacers. Killer design!

Three matching Kohetsu gyutos, 210, 240, and 270 mm knives. What a set! Custom dyed maple burl with elm and indian ebony. Feel free to reach out if you would like a custom dyed block.

Check out this beauty! Dyed maple burl with a poplar and bog oak spacer. Simple, elegant and classy! Oh yeah, I wouldn’t want to forget the Taourkan 240 gyuto....

Are the black spacers required to ensure a strong bond to the metal, or purely aesthetic?
