I finally made my first handle. Tasmanian Blackwood with an ebony ferrule. I installed it on a Toyama 210 Nakiri. Working on my second one for a Kippington Gyuto with a fishhook grind. It came out pretty good, I learned a lot, not perfect but I’m happy.

Thanks for the guidance Steve and Andreu, it would have come out much different without your help.

Yep. Top-Bottom Mazaki nashiji 240, Shiraki crescent moon 240 honyaki, Tanaka ginsan 240. Have a couple westerns, too.
