We finished these and they came out nice. Sue stole the first one and put it on her shipping apron. https://www.chefknivestogo.com/kolapin.html

Eh, I'd make make it closer to $450...
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

Re: Konosuke Lapel Pins
I just got an email yesterday about the Takeda coins.
“Mark, I hadn’t talked in a bit so I thought I would let you know the progress. I had taken a few elements out of the design so that I could send the dies out to be laser engraved for the Kanji. This way it would look good at the scale. I should get them back In a week or so. After that I will be hand engraving some aspects of the design like the banner.

I’m a firm believer of making critical decisions by tossing a coin. This Takeda coin will join my EDC set.ChefKnivesToGo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:52 pmI just got an email yesterday about the Takeda coins.

Re: Konosuke Lapel Pins
Better wait to get the coin and pin at the same time. I can't afford two $450 knives to cover shipping...ChefKnivesToGo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:52 pmI just got an email yesterday about the Takeda coins.

Haha, you would like that. I think I spent $500 or $600 when I drove up in September.

As a purist, I’d prefer one in white steel because if it ever gets dull, it’d be easier to sharpen.
