WTS Haburn 52100 Gyuto

This is a free service where you can buy and sell knives and sharpening equipment and kitchen tools. There is no fee for posting items but we require that you've made at least 30 posts on our forum before you post something for sale.
Forum rules
As stated in the description, we want to get to know you better before allowing new forum members to post items for sale. You will not be able to create topics until you reach a 30 post minimum. Please take your time and contribute to the forum discussions in a substantive way. SPAM posting to reach 30 posts is considered very bad form and could get you booted off these forums.

NOTE: If you have an item for sale and you are located outside the Continental U.S. please state your location so the buyer knows what to expect in a purchase transaction.

WTS Haburn 52100 Gyuto

Post by egolan »

Hey all -

Selling another goodie.

This beauty from Ian measures 225x53+ and has never been sharpened or even stropped.
Extremely light patina from about 8-10 uses in a home environment.

As always with Ian, fit and finish is in a class of its own.

Asking $900 shipped anywhere in the world.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful knife! GLWS.

Btw, and I'm sorry that this isn't the most ideal place to be asking this, but can anyone tell me the proper way of saying 52100 out loud? Is it "fifty two one hundred," or something else?

I go by fifty two one hundred, yes.

I guess I could see "five twenty one steel" rolling off the tongue as well

It’s actually a bearing steel and bearing manufacturers say “fifty-two one hundred.”

Guys please do not make side comments on WTS threads. Positive talk about knife or seller is OK...the rest is not.

Can always shoot me a PM if it truly interests you, my friend. Always happy to discuss partial or complete trades if it pleases both parties.
