MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Post by Radar53 »

Seasons greetings & thanks especially to Mark & Sue and of course all my fellow forum members. I really appreciate this forum and have benefitted hugely from your combined input and coaching this year.

Wishing you all well for the festive season and hopefully 2022 will see things moving forward world wide.

Shock Horror ..... just been interrupted by a delivery from Amazon. Sue have you been training them or something???? It wasn't due until the 13th of Jan 2022 and it's arrived from the States to my door in NZ in less than four days :o :o :o

Blimmin heck, I can't post a letter to the next suburb in that time these days days with Christmas deliveries and all the foibles of couriers.

Stay safe, stay healthy & stay happy. All the best Grant
Cheers Grant

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not going to get you!!

First holiday in a long while I haven’t bought a knife! Got the money and some candidates but … I am all cooked out!

Here’s hoping for a more normal 2022. All the best to everyone this holiday season.

I'm holding off on new knives till I get a new stove, fridge, kitchen floor, mixer, etc. Maybe I'll try to order woks again, 2nd time the charm?

Hippo Holidays to everyone. May your knife dreams come true and accidents be few.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year fellow addicts! This year the wife jumped on the train and bought me a magnetic board, knife bag and we split the cost on an ass kickin' Takeda Stainless Clad Banno Bunka 170mm. IT's a great knife to go with purchases this year of Kohetsu HAP40 270mm Sujihiki and 175mm Bunka to go with Kanjo 180mm Santoku, 150mm petty and 240mm Gyuto. All I need is a nakiri and I'll have what I consider a complete set of what's becoming my favorite steel! Hope everyone had a great time yesterday, best wishes to all your families and here's hoping for a better year in 2022.
Thank you Susan and Mark for being more than proprietors. For all you guys do to make this a great site, fantastic forum and putting a personal touch that makes everyone feel a part of something special!!
