WTB - Konosuke Fujiyama Aogami 210mm Petty

Post by Jeff B »

I'm looking for a Kono Fujiyama 210mm petty in blue steel to somewhat close out an area of my collection. If you have one not seeing much use I'd be very interested in rehoming it for you. Preferably new but lightly used is fine also just nothing overly worn or abused.

I had one a while ago, but gave it a retiring chef.

Jeff--you did not grab one at the 2018 Mark-and-Sue knife show? Though they had the ho wood handles and I think all your collection is ebony. Perhaps you can pose a question about these in the Konosuke update thread..could there be another round some day?

I always thought a petty knife ended at like 150mm, shows what I know!

That is so generous of you since Jeff only asked for one. You wouldn’t happen to know where I could get “A” Usuba? :D

Jeff, have you talked to Mark about just ordering one? I bet it would be super easy to just request one direct (or via Mark direct), and you're used to waiting, so that wouldn't be a big deal.

OK, you all are not being cooperative, time for someone to give up their Fujiyama petty!

I can offer a Konosuke Monosteel W#2 210mm petty in trade too.

Ok, I'll do an even trade, a Fujiyama B#2 210mm gyuto for a 210mm Fujiyama petty in Blue. Don't know what more I can do...
