Bought a set the other day from someone on here. Barely used, some don't even look used. I have duplications that I don't need, so selling:
120 ($35)
220 ($35)
320 ($35)
1500 ($40)
8000 ($50)
12000 ($70)
Pricing reflects shipped CONUS, including necessary insurance.
If you want to package a few together, let me know and we'll work out the price.
I want either the 220 or 320, so once one sells, I'll lock out the other.

Re: Shapton Pro Stones
Sooo tempting for these prices. I've really come to appreciate my 1500 alongside owning a 2000, just as I've come to appreciate my 320 after shifting "repair" work to other stones and using it more for establishing bevels as quickly as possible. But both of mine have some good life left, so I'm not sure I can justify duplicating them...argh.
Good luck with the sale, and thank you for considering donating some proceeds to a good cause despite offering such good deals.

Great selection and the prices are righteous! Then the added generosity of the donation makes this a no brained for anyone wanting some great stones.

Re: Shapton Pro Stones
Hello,
I am interested in several stones you are offering: 320, 1500, 8000, and 12000. As someone who has yet to learn sharpening, I am unsure if I need the 120 stone or not. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jonathan

Re: Shapton Pro Stones
Here is what Shapton recommends for various knives: https://www.fine-tools.com/shapton-instructions.html
If I need to go as low as 120 then I just use my 140 diamond plate (which you will need to have for flattening the stones anyway). But I primarily use my stones on kitchen knives and straight razors.
