I like it allot. I have seven of his knives and all are super cutters. This has the feel of a nakiri with the strength of a cleaver. I find myself reaching for it daily. If you are inclined pick one up, the performance may surprise you.

Those specs sound great! I was talking about a custom mini-cleaver with some of the guys earlier this week, and we were considering pretty much the same dimensions.

Lol, I work a lot so I don't see much sunlight. Most my picks are taken late at night after I get home...that and I don't have any interest in learning photography.
Great knife, I miss that one.

beautiful polish and that blue purple patina is pretty dang nice too. Warm roast or .....? What did you use for that patina?
