I like it allot. I have seven of his knives and all are super cutters. This has the feel of a nakiri with the strength of a cleaver. I find myself reaching for it daily. If you are inclined pick one up, the performance may surprise you.

How you doing old friend. Just getting back to the grind so to speak and i still knew the best of the best are on this forum. Ive never seen better pics and advice in my life from all. A true group of masters.

Those specs sound great! I was talking about a custom mini-cleaver with some of the guys earlier this week, and we were considering pretty much the same dimensions.

That's gorgeous! The blue patina is a result of proteins from cutting meat? Does anything else produce a blue patina like this?

Lol, I work a lot so I don't see much sunlight. Most my picks are taken late at night after I get home...that and I don't have any interest in learning photography.

beautiful polish and that blue purple patina is pretty dang nice too. Warm roast or .....? What did you use for that patina?
