Custom handle and saya for a Sukenari HAP-40 240 mm gyuto. The saya was purpleheart with a matching handle made from Purpleheart/Maple/E Indian Rosewood. This is on its way back to the owner in time for the holidays.

This concludes the busy month. There are already several projects lined up for the beginning of next year.

That Kashima's handle is gorgeous!

Thanks! I am waiting for an excuse to get some Tasmanian Blackwood from Greenberg woods. I am sure someone wants me to make them a handle from it.

I don't think anyone could turn that down.

Really digging the taper on your last couple of handles.

Thanks. Tapers are something I vary based on the custom request. My premade/semicustoms have a mix of tapers.
