Do you like these cutting boards?
Noyer makes some nice looking cutting boards in my opinion. It's expensive for me to import these but I'm thinking about doing it.
Thoughts?

Beautiful piece but not something I would ever use but I don't entertain much and that's where this would shine. Laying out cheeses and crackers or showing off slicing that prime rib in front of the guests.

If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

I share the same sentiment. It would be nice for something like a cheese platter, but not as my regular cutting board. Have you looked into the Hasegawa boards yet?

It's beautiful but I think I'd go mental using a board that wasn't a rectangle. Even circular ones incense me.

Re: Do you like these cutting boards?
I think for the short term this would be a nice product; my college age daughter and her friends (and many younger folks) are really into charcuterie boards and something like this would be perfect for that. Of course, the price would be a big determining factor, but that sort of board would make for a much nicer presentation than a plain old square/rectangular board. I think the charcuterie craze will die down after a while (think fondue sets), but it might be an interesting product to stock.
I agree it would drive me nuts to use it as an everyday cutting board, though.

It's gorgeous, but I wouldn't buy it for me. Depending on the price I might buy one as a wedding gift or a housewarming present for someone, but I imagine it would exceed my normal budget range for gifts to non-family members.

I'm set on cutting boards, but I bought the large Noyer magnetic rack and the finish was flawless. Good maker, in my opinion.

Compare it’s cost to a custom, if the prices are comparable, I’d rather get another Jones board.

It's a beautiful piece of wood, but I prefer a traditional rectangular board. The asymmetry of the Noyer bothers me, and it results in the board taking up more counter space than a rectangular one with a comparable cutting surface.

Re: Do you like these cutting boards?
In my book, it's not really a cutting board. It's more of a carving board / service piece for larger pieces of meat. So much of it is wasted space, and the huge juice-groove bezel thing and irregular shape doesn't help things. The bezel also makes it an odd choice to, say, serve cheese from. Here's your usable cutting surface:
