Re: Shapton Pro Stones
Hello,
I am interested in several stones you are offering: 320, 1500, 8000, and 12000. As someone who has yet to learn sharpening, I am unsure if I need the 120 stone or not. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jonathan

Re: WTS - a few knives to help support #Mauistrong
Hello,
I am interested in purchasing the Matsubara bunka but I am wondering if it has a good edge on it because I haven’t learned to sharpen yet and I don’t have any connections in Petaluma, CA (Sonoma County). Also what is pay via “F&F”?
Thank you!

Re: Is a cracked ferrule a deal breaker?
Agreed. I am just asking for a return as I am not experienced enough yet for a project knife (fixer upper). Originally I thought it was a new, never used knife and I would put epoxy and/or beeswax in the cracked ferrule. I'd like to be excited about my first high end knife and this eBay purchase jus...

Re: Is a cracked ferrule a deal breaker?
I appreciate everyone's advice. Everything about the knife was misrepresented / failure to disclose. For the right price I think this could be a perfectly useable knife but for $440.00 I'm going to ask for a return or a substantial partial refund to live with the defect(s). Any opinions on what woul...

Is a cracked ferrule a deal breaker?
Hello, I would really appreciate some advice regarding a Takeda gyuto I purchased off eBay. I'm having buyer's remorse due to a cracked ferrule, a bent blade, and I can feel the metal disc below the ferrule sticking out of the handle just slightly. I paid $440.00 after all taxes and I have to make t...
